Bydgoszcz University of Technology Dr. Agnieszka Fujak
A second life for materials: how young designers are shaping the future.
The presentation concerns the strategic importance of education in the field of sustainable design at the Faculty of Design Arts at the Bydgoszcz University of Technology. As part of the curriculum, we develop modules devoted to sustainable design – both of products and services, as well as packaging and transport systems. A key element of our activity is cooperation with companies, which often approach us with recycled materials, but without a clear vision of how to use them. Thanks to the work of students and teaching staff, innovative market concepts are created that combine creativity with environmental responsibility. During the presentation, we will show both conceptual designs and those already implemented in cooperation with business partners.
